Yaoi hentai manga Badday Dreamers. Part. 1-6. Completed
Hello! I'm Yutaka na Umami.
Thank you so much for purchasing such a thick, bulky book.
I get questions pretty often on Twitter about how we ended up making BDD together, and what our individual processes are for our manuscripts, so I think I'll talk a little bit about that. It's going to be long but give it a read if you're interested.
So first of all, there's probably a lot of people out there wondering what the deal is with both of us drawing BDD together. The ships in the series, like KuniKuro and IkeKocha, are actually joint creations of me and dotsuco. Like I did the character design and backstory for Tosaka, and dotsuco did Dakuro. So we'd made these characters separately, then we started talking like, "Wait, wouldn't these guys make a good seme/uke?" And it snowballed from there all the way to BDD being released, lol.
We made the school Tosaka and Dakuro go to, and then we were like, there should be a neigh- boring high school too! We should make one! And so we made Kugenuma's high school. Then delinquents gotta have a posse, so we made Ikkei and Kocha... So we already had a bunch of backstory and characters made up even before we wrote the doujinshi. Thanks to that, we didn't have to stop and come up with anything new when it came time to actually draw the book, so we both mostly knew what we were drawing. But we know basically nothing about the details of the other person's stories until the book is finished, so it's not really an exaggera- tion to say that no one is looking forward to seeing the finished product more than the au- thors themselves...
It's very rare to be able to co-create such a niche BL, much less actually publish it in a book, and I'm infinitely grateful to have readers who are kind enough to purchase it.
It's a hefty, mostly self-indulgent book that isn't very cute, but once again thank you so much for getting it.
Like I mentioned earlier, we have tons of characters we haven't drawn yet (in fact we have entire high schools that haven't shown up yet...). And of course, we haven't drawn enough of KuniKuro either!
We hope you'll continue to keep an eye on our self-indulgent books.
