Ive seen people hate this story which is understandabel, but for me personaly its also somewhat realistic.

Yes i know Ceaser isnt a good guy and that hes a abuser, but what a lot of people seem to forget is that victims like Lewon (the Lawyer/ i forgot how to write his name) quite often acually fall in love with their abusers which is called Stockholm Syndrome. 

Ive personaly seen it happen to people and to people very close to me, while it certainly isnt nice it is realistic that the victim falls in love with the abuser and stays with them and doesnt leave them.

I think people tend to forget that a lot people stay with their abusers and that Storys like this where the victim stays with the abuser isnt to far off from reality. 

And even in real life its being romantasised with the "oh but he looks so good and i bet you liked it" so it is activley being romantasised in real life and on the Internet.

The tendency to romanticize violence in manhwas is truly unhealthy, and everything you said is certainly correct and fair. However, I tend to take a more neutral position, specifically towards this pair. Because even when Caesar did terrible things, the lawyer did not react to them as overly violently. Rather, he perceived them as variations of Caesar's norm. Therefore, this particular manhwa, personally, does not cause me any strong rejection.

Yes, he's strong. But not enough to get rid of Caesar from his life. I get it "Oh it's fiction so it's okk" but it really isn't. Sure, grape in fiction is also bad, but romanticizing it is much worse.

You can say it's fiction no matter what, but it'll never be justifiable enough to be deemed 'okay'. Yes, Leewon is seen as happy. But that just makes it much worse. As if he just easily forgave Caesar for graping him multiple times already.

Again, fiction. But it's fucking disgusting. Grape culture in bl is becoming to normalized to the point people defend it with the 'its fiction' card. The events are fiction, but what Caesar did could also happen in real life.

And the fact that that author decided to make it romantic, is not only disrespectful to actual victims of this, but even hypnotizes not-so-knowledgeable people into believing that it's also romantic (BOOKTOK for example)

So yeah, that fiction card wont work. Fiction, reality, who gives a shit. Its rape and thats that

You bring a fictional story into reality. Whether the lawyer thinks that everything is normal or really believes that everything is normal, we will not know. From the author’s point of view, it’s normal for him, he’s happy with it. No one is holding him hostage, since he is not only a strong adult man, but also the son of one of the most influential people in the mafia. Naturally, if all this happened in reality, then such a toxic relationship would hardly be possible, since both parties have too strong personalities.

HE thinks its ok. But it's because the author WROTE him that way. And if you look at it in a real perspective, dating your rapist? Really? It sounds toxic. It sounds like you're being held hostage by this man.

Let's not forget the fact that Caesar shot him AND raped Leewon when he was unconscious. Then proceeded to drug Leewon AND do it again. He did it once, twice, god knows how many more once they get married.

This is NOT a happy ending. This is a bad ending being twisted into a good one because Leewon is portrayed as 'being fine with it'

No, I do not justify violence, I just pay attention to the details. The lawyer is a strong man, he served in the special forces, he can fight back against Caesar when he is not happy with something and if he does not do this, it means that he thinks that everything is okay.

List of Toxic things Caesar did pt. God knows what:

-Broke Leewon's bike so he'd be forced to stay at Caesar's place. Never specified if he apologized nor bought him a new one
-Attempted to shoot a child just because the kid attempted to steal from Leewon
-Shot Leewon when he was leaving then graped him in his sleep for god knows how long
-Felt jealous that Leewon was with HIS OWN BIOLOGICAL DAD
-Drugged Leewon and then took advantage of him again (Which is literally SA)

In conclusion: Caesar's toxic asf and I dont know why people see the appeal. He's good looking, but don't let that stop you from seeing the red flags
