I’m not kink shaming, but to all of you who used the excuse of it being under violence/cruelty doesn’t make this okay. I’ve been forced into similar situations before and this is not fun. This is rape, and it’s disgusting. I’m not saying that the author is a bad person, but you really shouldn’t condone this. As someone who both reads and writes dark romances, I can say that there are certain lines you should never cross and this is one of them. I write awful books that sometimes end in death, SA, SH, or some other tragedy, but this is excessive and cruel. Just because it’s a fictional story doesn’t make this behavior acceptable, and definitely not BDSM. BDSM is supposed to be fun for all around them. There are clear lines beforehand that shouldn’t be crossed ever and they clearly need a safe word. And it’s so much worse than cruelty; this is inhumane. I’m not saying to kill yourself or to die or to go to prison, because personally, as long as you don’t condone real people doing this, I feel it’s an overreaction, however I am saying that this doesn’t belong in the BDSM section. This is hardly BDSM and even if it is it’s so cruel and disgusting. Please don’t condone this. It’s fine if you have a non-con kink, but this is crossing a line. Non-con should be used in roleplays, and if anyone stops having fun than you should immediately stop. Next time I really hope you can maybe keep on the okay side of the line, even if it’s on the brink. I feel that without cruelty this may have been an excellent story, if it wasn’t rape. There was potential in this plot before it became a cry for help. Please in the future write a warning at the beginning because this caused me to spiral, and I’m trying to be respectful while literally having a meltdown.
